At Compular we build software to unleash the power of computational chemistry and physics to help industry develop the materials of tomorrow. We are a startup, founded in 2020, and are currently in a phase of quick growth, much thanks to a prestigious funding package from the European Innovation Council (EIC) Accelerator. We are now looking for an Economy and Project Administrator to join the team and tackle financial and administrative challenges.

Key responsibilties

This role will involve a broad set of tasks and responsibilities in both economy and project management.

Economy

• Oversee financial operations including expenses, payments, and payroll administration.
• Conduct detailed project accounting to track budget allocations and expenditures.
• Prepare and update budgets and financial forecasts.

Project Management

• Coordinate with teams to ensure activities align with the project plan and timelines.
• Ensure compliance with administrative policies specific to the EIC Accelerator project.
• Manage comprehensive project documentation and prepare detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders, including the EIC.
• Facilitate effective communication within the project team and with external partners to maintain project alignment and momentum.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess some or all of the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in financial management and project administration, ideally within a startup environment.
• Strong familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
• Excellent analytical skills with an ability to interpret and manage financial data.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple ongoing tasks.
• Effective communication skills in Swedish and English, both written and verbal.

In addition to the above, the following qualifications are advantageous:

• Prior experience managing EU-funded projects or familiarity with EIC Accelerator administrative process.
• Professional certifications in business economics or project management.
